Handheld piracy costs industry ยฃ 28,8 billion - study
5 year investigation Japans Computer Entertainment Suppliers Association (CESA) found that the DS and PSP piracy costs industry over the 3.816 trillion yen (28.8b / $ 41.6b) in lost sales in the period from June 2004 to June 2009.
Studies conducted by Tokyo Game Show organizer CESA in conjunction with the University of Tokyo 's Baba Lab, monitoring downloads top 20 software titles in Japan over 114 leading sites with piracy.
