Slow week sees retail debut single crack Media Create top-10, S platformer Nintendo 'results in the software, PSP tops hardware.

The first full week in April offered very little for U.S. players in the retail . As it turned out, the case was the same in Japan, reflected in sales Media Create 's schedule for the week of April 5-11. With no new games cracked the top 10, Nintendo 's perennial hit-cylinder, New-Super Mario Wii, free to take the top billing in the week, selling 37,244 units.

Mario owns the top of Japanese sales charts, he simply chooses to rent it at times.

Back half of New Media 's weekly chart was populated by the number of usual suspects, including the latest Pokemon Ranger, Wii Fit Plus and Monster Hunter Freedom Unite. Etrian Odyssey III and Yakuza 4 also supports the position in the top 10.

Sony has a handheld console and hardware during the week, with PSP sales of 29,766 units and 28,973 PS3 systems transition. Of course, it is also prepared in the bottom of the CPC and the console charts, so go and PSP PlayStation 2 sold only 1826 units and 1425 units respectively. Nintendo 's Wii sold 25,345 units, and the Trifecta DS combined for sales of 36,459 units. Xbox 360 once languished at the bottom of the chart, selling 3218 units.
