Don't Go 3D For 3D's Sake, Says Sony

Sony is determined to boost 3D graphics in games, but the company seems to be aware that quality not quantity is what players can win. They were telling game developers to move only if a better gaming experience, not just to enjoy a buzzword in the industry. Mick Hocking, Sony said: "We need, and we try to encourage everyone to learn about 3D correctly and come talk to us so that we support when the games become. However, only deliver the highest quality 3D. As we have seen in other industries, if you make high quality 3D film Avatar, we can say - this is the most successful film of all time, the film is the most lucrative of all time - but from then could not continue with the same degree of success. ... If people see high-quality 3D does enrich the experience. it is a great feature for a game. But if they are of poor quality 3D may be delayed. Unfortunately, some people produce poor quality 3D in all media. over the last 12 months, we saw the TV, movies, games, where the quality was not there. it's just a matter of people need to understand how to work with 3D, how technically correct and how to use it creatively. just add 3-D made ??a difference in the gaming experience. you must add something. not only add depth for the sake of it. "
