07/01/2010 Famitsu: White Knight Chronicles coming to PSP in 2011 Level-5's White Knight Chronicles may have had some issues, but it's not stopping the company from pursuing a sequel, Set to be released in Japan next month. It would seem that the series also applies to Sony 's PSP, but the latest issue of Japanese magnetic Famitsu (via Andriasang) reveals a PSP entry set for a 2011 launch.

While White Knight Chronicles 2 wraps up the story of Leonard and the events set in motion by the first game, the PSP game will introduce a new story and characters. "And then, to a new world," the text on the teaser page announces. \\ " White Knight Chronicles New Project. A story of your avatar and new allies, told on the PlayStation Portable, is set to start in 2011."

07/17/2010 Valkyria Chronicles 2 pre-order bonuses revealed for Europe, North America Sega is the union of downloadable missions pre-orders from the PSP with ' Valkyria Chronicles 2 in North America (at GameStop) and Europe. The DLC revolves around exercises against other classes in the Gallian Military Academy.

2 bonus mission:

• Exercise vs. Class E - "A clean-up war exercise against rival class E, which will take place in all of the areas of Leanbluff forest."
• Exercise vs. Class F - Break through Class F's stonewalling defense and take over their encampment to win.

If you were a fan of the original cult darling, it appears you'll be in store for a similarly epic saga with the sequel. Prepare to protect Gallia again when Valkyria Chronicles 2 releases online and on UMD this August 31 and September 3 in North America and Europe, respectively.

Adorably disturbing (rainbow vomit!) puzzler Critter Crunch is now free for PS+ users. Even if you don't have PS+, it's still worth grabbing this game at $6.99. Also, on the opposite end of the cuteness spectrum, the brutal Kane and Lynch 2: Dog Days Demo is now public. Check out the full update after the break. There's a ton of stuff here. You can see what the dungeons will look like, along with special attacks. The real reason for posting these is the collection of story-related images that outline the plot of the game. You are, apparently, a young kid in Japan who accidentally runs over an undefeated superhero and must take up his mantle to defeat a great evil. It looks wacky in that way that only NIS and Atlus ever manage to bring to my country. Highly appealing, this is. Give them a look.
